And don't forget the water ~ lots of it ~ keep a bottle of water on your desk ~ workspace ~ and make sure you keep sipping it.

Try alternating water with your drink when socialising or if you find yourself over-indulging at dinner.
A small glass of wine contains approximately 120 calories [around 1/10 of your daily calorie intake]
Apparently, the French add water to their wine ~ I tried it ~ it's Okay.
