Good for You ~

Without going into the pros and cons of diets, I came across this suggestion in Grazia Magazine and thought I should share:

The Good Mood Diet suggests ...

Energy from B Vitamins in
Green Leavy Vegetables, Mushrooms and Asparagus:

Better sleep from magnesium in

Raspberries, Sweet Potatoes and Pineapple:

Boost your Immune System with Zinc-rich

Chicken, Chickpeas and Cashews:

Increase the body's natural feel-good hormone, Seratonin with Omega-3 from Salmon, Avocado and Flax Oil.

Briefly translated into a simple eating plan:

Chicken / Salmon
Green Leafy Veg / Avocado / Asparagus / Mushrooms / Sweet Potatoes / Chickpeas Raspberries / Pineapple
Cashews / Flax Oil


All my favourites - and so easy to make meals from this list - I've no excuse for being moody or tired now !

* Reports for and against cooking with Flax Oil -

Taking a spoon or capsule seems to be the favourite outcome.
