In-Flight Meals ... Why this ???

I've just be lucky/unlucky enough to have been served a Thomson In-Flight Meal on a 10 hour flight which included ...

Bread
Pasta
Rice
Crackers
Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Square

All on one tray !!!

Followed by snack before landing:

Panini
Victoria Sponge

Why ? !!!!!
