Something for your mums ...
Something for your mums ... [just in case they're over 50 ... eek dare we mention it !!]
But as we still seem to be in the midst of credit crunching ... using outfits to cross the seasons seems a good idea doesn't it ?
I'm quite enjoying using what I've got in my wardrobe and mixing it or coordinating it with accessories I wouldn't normally choose to make a fresher more summer look - inexpensive and creative - there we go again - multi-tasking !
Give it a go. Don't let the shops win !
I know this link is a bit late in the year - and we do know how to take our outfits from day to night - but the principle is the same and fabafterfifty just made it very clear... check out this site for info, articles on relationships, health, fashion etc etc ... just copy and paste ...

Stress Busters ...
I've been so stressed lately, I've been called up by the cardiac investigations unit for a stress-test on my heart ... [as if I'm not stressed enough] - Obviously, my stress level isn't advisable to maintain, so whilst I was planning how to manage and control my feelings of anxiousness, I compiled this list of all things we know but don't always remember to do ...
1. prioritise [all the time]
2. focus on the most important thing for the day
3. make some daily structure and stick to it
4. don't have conversations that aren't really necessary
5. cut down on conversations with mates - move these to evening time or weekend
6. be on time for appointments - this will seriously cut down feeling of being stressed
7. make arrangements and try to stick to them - don't keep re-arranging and re-arranging.
8. don't keep checking movement of others 'have you set off yet'
9. breathe - take longer, slower breaths - breathe in - then breathe out r e a l l y s l o w l y
10. going away isn't always the answer - learning to manage stress is more important
Try it out ... I feel better already,
Gillian

How to save up really quickly ...
Yes well, I've come across this really good idea ~ if you stay in ... chances are ... you'll save money !
It's true. I've tried it. In fact, I've been trying it out for far too long now. And I have saved money. Great! But now what ... My friends have stopped phoning. So I've got some spends ... and no-one to share them with ... ahhh [I can hear the World's smallest violin playing for me] - that's because I'm NOT in any kind of noisy social environment, restaurant, cinema or even the gym ! No, I'm at home ... not going out ... not meeting anyone ...
And the moral of the story is ... everything in moderation - except seeing your friends ... that should be total obliteration ... regularly, habitually, unfailingly, ceaselessly, constantly, for ever and ever ... and ever
Phone a friend, visit a relative, go out and socialise ... you know it makes sense.
Enjoy, Jill

you will never be content with what you have.
